DAVIDE MANALI (biography)

Davide was born in a small town in north-east Italy, near the Slovenian and Austrian borders, not far from the mountains and the sea.
He got noticed and worked as a resident dj at the Super Club Ambasada Gavioli from 1997 to 2005 where he gained a significant experience
which subsequently allowed him to collaborate with the best clubs and festivals in Slovenia and Croatia as well as in Italy, Austria, Germany,
Bosnia, Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo.
His passion for music started as a child when his older brother showed and taught him how to use turntables and the mixer.
A constant search for new vinyl records brought him to purchase a large quantity of Lps, travelling also long distances to find them.
Thanks to his passion he had the opportunity to work in one of the best known dj stores in north-east Italy – Dance all Day (Paolo Barbato – 2000/2002)
and later to open his own music store in Ljubljana together with two colleagues and friends, Valentino Kanzyani e dj Aleksij (2002-2005).
Earresistible Music Shop became the reference store for vinyl and electronic music lovers in Slovenia and in the neighboring countries.
Over the years, Davide has greatly enriched his experience not only as an artist, but also as an event planner taking care of the artistic program
(booking) of the event and collaborating in its conception and creation.
This was possible thanks to his collaborations with many leading clubs and promoters in Slovenia with whom he has collaborated and still collaborates
since 2003 (Global, Fun Factory, Lipa, Escape, Vertigo, Tivoli, Casablanca, Inbox, Cvetlicarna Mediapark, Paprika, ...)
Since 2011, Davide works very closely with the agency Preparty and he is still playing at clubs and festivals all over Slovenia and in the neighboring countries.
With over 14 years of work experience at a professional level, we can consider Davide Manali a reliable point of reference in house music scena.

As a producer, he released two vinyl records under the nickname 4th Leaf Clover (1999 - Calypso Records) and as Star Cruiser (2001 - Level One Distribution).
Over these years and over the digital revolution of eletronic music, Davide has followed the evolution, trying to learn as much as possible.
At the moment, Davide is working together with Spherax Records and he is developing new ideas and new concepts of art and music,
including a project called Choonx Records.
